All great points! And if you remember only one, make sure it's the first. ;)

Campground owners / managers should certainly pay attention, as the continued push to go online (not just campground-controlled websites, but social media, third-party review / directory sites, etc.) can give campgrounds a greater exposure to negative comments. These guidelines should encourage campgrounds, however, that they can face these occasional challenges with confidence. The Internet provides so many powerful tools for promoting your park! Attempting to avoid negative exposure by avoiding all exposure is only cutting off your nose...

Thanks again, Pamela!

Wow, yes, give me that software now! I actually have a database with most all that info (I'll be adding the other ideas you gave me right away,) but I have to add it separately, in effect twice, once on my reservation program then on the database. The filter in my database, just using excel, works nicely to pull up differing groups but how nice it would be if it was all automated into a software and able to be downloaded into an email list for targeted emails.

Just noticed that the HTML code didn't print in my comment. Be glad to email them to anyone if interested. It seems like a good DIY solution to going mobile with your site. I can message them over on FB or you can do a "Contact us" on my site, or just email me if we are acquainted.

I've just begun to get into this bulging portion of RV marketing. I found a tip about adding three lines of code to my site header to accomplish this. I tested the results on my daughters IPhone (I know my messaging phone is way out of date, shame, shame) and as long as the phone is sideways it reads very nicely now in the smaller screen. Here are the additions i made to my HTML header
1.
2.
3.
They are respectively the...
CSS Code for Mobile
Meta Viewport Tag
Apple Icons
How to optimize your website for mobile
The process is simple, and just involves pasting some simple code into your website Header HTML. You'll need to add code for (1) mobile css, (2) a meta viewport tag, and (3) apple icons.
I made sure to make a backup copy of my template before making those changes. Would appreciate any feedback to this method as I am unsure of any effects (although I didn't notice any negative ones) that this may have on a site.

Great Teri! It's amazing how much knowledge is out there if we just tap in to it. I have also found that when you ask an employee for help, 9 times out of 10 they not only come through for you, they double their efforts to help you.

Got some ideas for clarification in my current procedure manual. I actually had one of my experienced workampers write up the manual then we edited it together. It was a good way to discern how an employee would best understand the directions. She turned out to be one of my most valuable employees.
